Your first visit with us usually begins with a conversation rather than a drill. We want to hear what's been bothering you, what you've been putting off, and what you'd like your smile to look like a year from now. From there we complete a dental exam, take the X-rays we need, and perform an oral cancer screening, which is a quick but important part of every thorough checkup. Our hygienists handle cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants for children whose new molars need protection.

If you haven't seen a dentist in a while, you're in good company, and you won't be lectured. Many Flat Rock patients come to us after years away, sometimes because of cost, sometimes because of a bad experience somewhere else. We'll explain what we see, what's urgent, what can wait, and what it would take to get you comfortable again. Comfort is genuinely a priority here — our comfort menu includes blankets, warm towels, neck pillows, headphones, Netflix, and refreshments, and we offer nitrous oxide sedation and IV sedation for patients who need more help relaxing. Once we know what you need, treatment can move in a lot of directions. For restorative care, we provide fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy on front teeth, premolars, and molars, and treatment for gum disease including scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance. For tooth replacement, we offer traditional and mini dental implants, implant-supported dentures, and complete and partial dentures. Cosmetic options include composite bonding, porcelain veneers, and both in-office and take-home teeth whitening.

Our on-site dental lab is one of the biggest practical advantages for Flat Rock families. Crowns, dentures, night guards, and other appliances are made and adjusted right here — including same-day dentures, same-day crowns, relines, and repairs. That means fewer trips down Allen Rd. and faster turnaround when something breaks.

Surgical and orthodontic care stay in-house as well. We handle simple and surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, gum grafting, crown lengthening, and gum contouring, and we accept oral surgery patients without a referral. Dr. Ila Sayed, our board-certified orthodontist, treats both children and adults with traditional metal braces and clear aligners including Invisalign, accepts orthodontic transfer patients, and provides retainers for patients who were treated elsewhere. We also fit night guards, sports mouth guards, and oral appliances for sleep apnea.

Insurance, Financing, and Getting Started

We accept all major PPO insurance plans and will run a complimentary insurance benefits check so you know what's covered before treatment begins. We also welcome self-pay patients and accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. CareCredit financing is available, and we offer new patient specials.

If you don't have dental insurance, our in-house membership plan may be a better fit: $199 a year for ages 18 and up, $99 a year for ages 17 and under. There's no annual maximum, no deductible, no waiting period, and no pre-authorizations. Exams, X-rays, two cleanings, and two fluoride treatments a year are covered at 100%, with 20% to 50% off other treatment.
